Such tourist sights as kazan cathedral were adjacent to the hotel. Restaurant Metropole, where you can eat, is an easy walk to the property🙂👌

Easy to find, not far from russian museum. Short way from Vladimirskaya metro stop, some 15 minutes walk. Great choice for trip.
